After 2 great Christmas celebrations, one in OR and one in CO, we finished this wonderful holiday back at home, just the 3 of us. We got home from Denver in the afternoon on Christmas day to a big stack of presents from Santa and got to watch Cally open more gifts and see the excitement on her face when she got just what she wanted from Santa. We exchanged presents between Zane and I as well and all had a great time. This was the first Christmas season we spent together in 2 years and it felt so wonderful to be with each other again during such a special time. That was definitely the best gift of all! Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas #2 (Denver, CO)
Our Christmas vacation continued as we headed to CO to spend some time with my parents and brothers. We were only there for a few days but managed to get some swimming in at the rec center (a must for Cally), we got to meet up for dinner and a hockey game with our wonderful friends Dustin and Kathy Nabhan, I got to spend some time shopping and catching up with my mom, and Zane and the guys got to head up to the mountain for a day of snowboarding. We spent Christmas Eve eating a fabulous dinner and opened presents at midnight, a tradition in our family. Finally, the we finished our last night off with a few games of spades which included some beer and naked snow angles for the guys. Although, our trip was short, we had a wonderful time filled with lots of laughs and great memories.

Disney At Christmas Time
I've always been told that Disneyland during the holiday season is absolutely beautiful so in between our Christmas trips to Oregon and Colorado, we decided to take Cally and spend the day in this magical place. She lives and breathes princesses right now and recognizes all the Disney characters so we were really excited to take her and watch her enjoy such a fun place. We spent the day riding rides, meeting characters, and most importantly dining with the princesses. We had a great time and Cally loved being surrounded by all the things she loves right now. Here's some pics of our fun day!

An Early Running Christmas
Since we are spending Christmas in Denver with my parents, we flew into Oregon to have an early Christmas and ski vacation with Zane's family. Our Mt. Hood ski trip has now become a tradition, this being our third year and we were all very excited to go. We spent the first two nights of our trip at Michelle and Greg's house in Molalla, OR with all their kiddos and animals and it was a blast. Cally loved being around all her cousins and playing out in the farm. Michelle and Greg have a great little spread there filled with all sorts of animals from goats, to ducks, chickens, sheep, cats, dogs, and donkeys. It was definitely a new experience for Cally and she loved every minute of it.
Mary and John arrived the second night and we all headed out to Mt Hood the following day. We stayed at a beautiful cabin super close to the slopes and everyone had a great time. Mary and I stayed back with the younger kids and the rest of the gang spent 3 days at the slopes. I went up to Timberline Lodge one day to meet up with Zane and we got to play in the snow and have some fun. Cally even got a few snowboard rides from her daddy and she absolutely loved it!
That evening, Christmas came early for the kiddos and they had a great time opening gifts from Nan and Papa Bear and their Aunts and Uncles!
Our last day, we spent some time sledding and enjoying the snow. Cally did not enjoy the snow in her face while sledding and only went down a few times but she had a great time eating and playing in it!
John and Mary: Thanks so much for such a fun ski trip! We had an amazing time!
Amaya (and her silly face), Zuri, Chaz, Cally, and Mylee
