An Early Running Christmas

Since we are spending Christmas in Denver with my parents, we flew into Oregon to have an early Christmas and ski vacation with Zane's family. Our Mt. Hood ski trip has now become a tradition, this being our third year and we were all very excited to go. We spent the first two nights of our trip at Michelle and Greg's house in Molalla, OR with all their kiddos and animals and it was a blast. Cally loved being around all her cousins and playing out in the farm. Michelle and Greg have a great little spread there filled with all sorts of animals from goats, to ducks, chickens, sheep, cats, dogs, and donkeys. It was definitely a new experience for Cally and she loved every minute of it.

Mary and John arrived the second night and we all headed out to Mt Hood the following day. We stayed at a beautiful cabin super close to the slopes and everyone had a great time. Mary and I stayed back with the younger kids and the rest of the gang spent 3 days at the slopes. I went up to Timberline Lodge one day to  meet up with Zane and we got to play in the snow and have some fun. Cally even got a few snowboard rides from her daddy and she absolutely loved it!

That evening, Christmas came early for the kiddos and they had a great time opening gifts from Nan and Papa Bear and their Aunts and Uncles!

Our last day, we spent some time sledding and enjoying the snow. Cally did not enjoy the snow in her face while sledding and only went down a few times but she had a great time eating and playing in it!
