It's a Boy!!!

Today I'm exactly 14 weeks along and it is the earliest that an ultrasound can determine gender. I have been waiting for this day to come for many weeks and now that it's here I couldn't wait to get to my appointment to finally find out what we are having. I scheduled an appointment at a local ultrasound clinic to get that oh so anticipated gender revealed. Zane met me there directly after work and together we got to see our little one again and find out. For the past several weeks we have been discussing names, mostly girl names, because that's what we have been expecting for the baby to be. Much to our surprise, the ultrasound tech announced that we are having a boy! A boy! I was so surprised! My first words were, "are you sure?" She said it was very clear and she was positive. Zane just laughed as I watched his face light up. We are so very excited to have a son and can't wait to meet him. Now to figure out a name and tell Cally...she has been very clear about wanting a sister so we will have to break it to her that it's not gonna happen just yet. Here's some pics of our little guy!
