Happy 3rd Birthday Cally Mae!

I can't believe it! My sweet little baby girl is 3 years old! Where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday she was squirming around in her bouncer, crawling away from me, pulling herself up with furniture, or needing my hand to help her with her first few steps. She now runs around free as a bird, climbs everything without an ounce of fear, and discovers new things everyday.  She is such a vibrant, funny, active, adventurous, curious, and imaginative little girl! She is full of energy, questions, and creativeness and keeps my life so wonderfully happy and entertained. She loves to play pretend and is really into dressing up. From her princess dress up clothes, to my dresses and high heels, she is all girl. She loves pink and purple, getting her nails painted, and looking pretty. She also loves to explore, catch critters, go for hikes and corvette rides, ride quads, camp at the desert, and rough house with daddy. She's a perfect mix of both Zane and I and so fun to have around. She's an easy kid, a good listener and very sweet and kind. We love her so much and feel so lucky to have her in our lives. Happy Birthday sweet Cally Mae. We love you more than you will ever know!

Since we didn't do much last year for her birthday, I wanted to have an extra special birthday this year. I started planning her party and together Cally and I  picked out all her goodies from the cakes to the decorations and everything in between. As we got closer to her big day I realized  that the weather was not going to cooperate with us. A cold winter storm decided to visit this specific weekend and my vision of a great and fun outdoor party with a bounce house, playhouse and jungle gym was ruined and we quickly had to rearrange some things to have in indoor party, however everything turned out great! We had a great turnout and Cally had a blast. We converted the office into a huge balloon filled playroom and the kids got to play dress up, have tea parties, and play with lots of toys as the adults mingled. Nan came all the way out from TN and Aunt Erica and Uncle Klay along with Nick and Katie made it out from Yuma as well. We were joined by great friends and neighbors and couldn't have asked for more. The day was wonderful and we had a great time celebrating our little girl! Here's some pics of our fun day!
